This fire is something we have never experienced in our lives before.  For all of us, except Jared, something we had never even seen.  It almost amazed me at how it destorys, and what is left still standing or what you can identify. 
I just am so thankful that this was the week before the kids and their families were going up to spend some time, and that they didn't have to be there during the evacuation time.  I also am thankful and praise God for protecting everyone.  No lives lost, that is something to be thankful for.
I pray for those that have lost their homes.  Ours was important and we had so many fun memories there, but others lost their only home.  I hurt for them and am so sorry for them.  Where to start.....
We have a powerful God and he will make good out of all of this.

Jonas lost his first tooth last night. He has already spent the $1 the tooth fairy gave him. Wow, remember when it was .25 cents.

Jeremiah and Amaya were having so much, just laughing their heads off while they talked on the phone.

Not really great pictures of the sunset, but this is Sunday night. I am sure the glow and the sky is mostly caused from the fire in the mountains. Makes an awesome sunset, but such tragedy.

The boys, Jake, Jonas, Maddox and Gavin and Wesley Gallegos had the best time in the pool. That's Emma up close.   

Well we know for sure now that our cabin was one of the many homes burned down in the Little Bear Fire in the mountains. We are planning on going up there, the whole family as soon as they open the area to come onto the grounds. We had alot of fun times up there and alot of memories were made. I thank our God that there have been no injuries. I hurt deeply for the ones that have lost everything. Now we have to look past the ashes and look forward to Gods plans. Continue to pray for those in danger, and those who have no home to go to now.
