Jeremiah got his first black eye. Fell off a chair and hit the telescope stand. Just happened last night so tomorrow at church he should have a shiner.

Today one of my dearest friends went home to be with his Lord. Nathan you fought a good fight, now your reward is awaiting you. I am blessed to know you and spend time with you. You have inspired me to speak more boldly for my Lord, to not be afraid to tell anyone about what a great God we have. You have showed me the importance of family and friends. I love you and will truly miss you. Give my mom a hug for me.

Bruce is planting our garden. No your eyes are not deceiving you, there is carpet on the ground. This was down at the shop and Bruce thought what a great way to keep the weeds out, so now the joke is that I need to go out and vacuum the garden.

Happy Mothers day, Tatum's baby dedication

Today Jason and Tamara had Tatum dedicated at church. This is such a neat time, a time of the family and the church family agreeing to bringing her up in the way of the Lord. It takes a village, and what a wonderful group of people to have standing with you when you are raising a family.

Happy Mothers day, to the two most wonderful daugthers ever. It is an honor to be your mother. I love you girls.

The guys cooked for us for mothers day. What a special day.

Boys and their frogs

Popes boys brought these frogs over. Jake is holding Chirpy, Jonas is holding Fatty, and Maddox is holding Jumpy. They played with these frogs all afternoon, in the water, and in the sandbox. I don't do frogs, but I could just hear them saying "help me"

It was fun watching them play so good.

Today Tatum is one day short of 6 weeks old.

Wow what an honor and surprise for Bruce and I. We were giving this award in church Sunday morning. We are not deserving of this. We are just trying to do what God wants us to do. How humbling.

Old times balloon ralley

Early Sunday morning we ventured out to the field to see the balloons take off. 7:00am and we saw a couple take off and a few more try, but of course the wind had to start blowing so that put an end to that. It was cool to get a picture of the inside of the balloon as it was being blown up.

So cool when they play together so well. This was one of the funest ice cream days we have had. Dilly Bars, block, talking on the porch, races, building a fort. Love my boys!
Amaya wanted her nails to be purple like gamma's toe nails. Good thing she likes Tom & Jerry cartoons, it kept her occupied and still while we did her nails.

The largest the moon would be in 2012.

It was beautiful.
