Tamara had a baby shower for a close friend. Jessa and I helped her make this diaper cake. Just in case that is a new item for you, it is rolled up diapers then covered with baby blankets and decorated. It was fun and turned out really cute.

Today we became soccer grandparents. And we wear it well, with some 75 pictures of 2 games. Jonas and Maddox are on the same team, coached by Jason and assistant coach Jared. They had a close game, 7-6, lost by one point, but it was so fun watching them play for the first time. Jake is on an older team, coached by Jason. They are a more experienced team, they won 25-2.

Amaya loved helping Jeremiah drink from his cup. She would walk around carrying it to give him a drink, and if I tried to give him one she would take it away from me.

I went outside to check on Jonas and Maddox and came back to these two, licking the door, and wanting out.

All 500+ poles are in place, and mounts have been installed on top of each to hold the solar panel. The ditches are dug, where the wiring will be placed in tubes and buried. Progress is being made. The field sure looks different.

The Haley's have left Memphis. We are back home and glad to be here. Was gonna have pics of the kids tonight, but got so busy just being with them that I didn't get one. Guess you will have to settle with one more of Elvis. This is where he recorded his first demo.

Today we took the bridge across the Mississippi River and went into Arkansas, Mississippi and then back to Tennessee. I guess Mississippi doesn't want to welcome you into the state, there wasn't a sign announcing it.

It is a tradition of the Peabody to host 5 mallard ducks. They live up in the penthouse and they are brought down by the elevator everyday at 11 and walk down a red carpet to the water fountain in the middle of the lobby. This is where they spend their day, at 5 they go back up to the penthouse for the night. Spoiled little guys.

Amazing what you can do by welding. This guys are talented, but after seeing the art work it is totally a guy thing to understand how it is all done.
