It was so beautiful out today. We spent most of the afternoon out working in the yard, mowing, planting flowers, cleaning the pool (Jonas will be thrilled, he keeps asking to swim). Felt good.

This little guy crashed into the window and Bruce rescued him. After sitting on the window seal for prally 30 min. he flew off.

Today I finshed the most amazing book. "Heaven is for Real" I am not a big reader, but this is one you can't put down. As it said in the book it gives you a whole different way to look at heaven. It opens your eyes and helps to visual what heaven will be like. I love looking through the eyes of a child, innocent and pure, no questions. I highly recomend this book, trust me you will grow from it.

I know I am full of pictures of the g-kids and plants and flowers and friends, but right now I just need to talk.
Today has been one of my hardest days without my mom. Nothing special about this day, but I have been in tears nearly all day.
I just miss her so very much. Our 10:00 phone calls are so hard to get past. Being here for b-days, Easter, she was just always here.
I just can't call her and tell her of my day, of my joys, frustrations, questions, and sorrows.
I need you mom. I want you here to share, to talk of survivor and amazing race.
I relive that night many a time, and just wanna go back one more day with you.
I miss you, I love you, and never regret who we were together.
I will always keep you close to my heart.
Rest well mom, and as the song said "I will remember you"

This year I attended Community Bible Study (CBS). We studied the book of Genesis and was wonderful. This is my core group. Laura, myself, our core leader Jill Najar, Amy, Tamara, Crystal and Betty. Great year ladies, I learned alot from the study and from you.

Today was 5 months without my mom, and not only that but it would have been mom and daddy's 56th wedding anniversary. I can't begin to tell you how much I miss her. I long to talk to her again, to hear her voice, to tell her so much. I love you mom and will always miss and love you.

Tamara finally did it. She grew her hair the required 10" and had it cut yesterday and donated it to Locks of Love. What a change in hair styles, but isn't it cute. I love it!! (but Tamara has never in my mind had a bad haircut)

Sunday night at church, it was so cute to see Amaya going to Jeanette Adams during church and sitting with her. The older shall teach the young.

This weekend was ladies retreat. It was an awesome time. We had 14 ladies stay in the cabin. This is Friday night after service when we come back and snack and have a great sharing time. Love you gals.
