Happy Memorial Day. You know we just don't give enough credit and thanks for those who have given their lives for us. We owe them so much.

We just had some home made ice cream and sat on the front porch for a while. Amaya loved the ice cream, and I think she just felt free, going all over the place.

Vacation is over, and after a long trip home we made it in Roswell at 1:00am Sunday morning. At least that was myself and the Popes. Bruce and the Jennings got into Roswell about 11 I think. There were flight problems, but don't wanna go into that, I wanna keep a positive upbeat attitude about the trip.

It was awesome!

My favorite part had to be when we spent the whole day at the beach. Such fun.

Happy 28th Birthday Jessa.

We spent the whole day at Busch Gardens, that would be how we celebrated Jessca's b-day. I try to do that person as my picture of the day, but by the end of the day she didn't much want her picture taken, so I took one from our day.

The roller coaster peeps (Bruce, Jason, Tamara and Jessica) loved the thrill rides. The little boys loved it all. Such a great day!

Today the guys went deep sea fishing. They didn't catch but 4 fish, but had a great time. Us gals and the kids had lunch and did the beach.

I was up early this morning, couldn't sleep, so got to see the sunrise on the ocean.
Then we spent the day on the beach. First of all the guys made a fort, very creative, and the girls and I decided to be a little more creative and do a cross in the sand. Afterwards you see the each group doing what they do most and best at the beach. The guys did the boggle boards almost all day, us gals enjoyed just lounging, and the little guys did it all. Amaya and Jeremiah slept most of the day, but they got their time also. What an awesome day.
The pictures of each family group are taken on the deck of the house we stayed at, the beach is just 100 feet from the deck.

Today it was windy and cloudy so we decided to do the aquarium and as you can see everyone had fun touching the manta rays. Feel like slimy leather. We ate at a bbq place called Jakes. Great food and the girls said they had never met Jake and it was good to finally meet him. Our crazy Jason and Jared decided at 8:00 to go out and boogie board in the cold, windy, foggy weather. They looked and sounded like they were having a blast.

Travel day of our family vacation. Jennings left from Roswell, the Popes and us flew out of Albuquerque and we met in Dallas. We landed in Norfolk VA and drove about 45 minutes to Virgina Beach, where we rented a house on the beach. This is what 6 adults and 5 kids look like with all the luggage. Great flights.

We are headed to Albquerque to fly out to Virgina Beach tomorrow. Just a fun relaxing trip with all the kids. Beach, Williamsburg, Beach, Busch Gardesn, Beach, shopping, beach. I will try to keep up with my blog, so be prepared for pictures of water, sand and tourist things.

What a fun party Tamara and Jason did for Jakes 6th b-day. It was based on the movie "How to Train a Dragon" They had swords, helmets, and made their own sheilds. The kids had a blast.
